Abstract

This invention discloses a composite mattress comprising a first mattress body and at least one second mattress body. The first mattress body has a head area, a shoulder area, and a body area, with the shoulder area located between the head area and the body area. At least one shoulder pressure relief groove is formed by the downward indentation of the surface of the shoulder area. The second mattress body is disposed within the shoulder pressure relief groove of the shoulder area of the first mattress body, and the firmness of the second mattress body is lower than that of the first mattress body. Therefore, when the user lies on their side on the composite mattress, their shoulder rests precisely on the second mattress body, reducing shoulder pressure during side sleeping and preventing shoulder discomfort upon waking.
