Abstract
Claims
1. An inductor comprising: A magnetic core having two through holes extending downward from its top surface; a winding having a top winding segment, a first side winding segment extending radially from the first end of the top winding segment, and a second side winding segment extending radially from the second end of the top winding segment, wherein the first side winding segment and the second side winding segment pass through the two through holes and then bend outwards respectively to form a first terminal segment and a second terminal segment.
2. The inductor as claimed in claim 1, wherein the magnetic core has a further recessed upper groove on its top surface, such that the upper groove passes laterally through the top ends of the two through holes, and the top end of the lead is placed in the upper groove.
3. The inductor as claimed in claim 1, wherein the magnetic core has a further recessed groove on its bottom end face, such that the lower groove passes laterally through the bottom ends of the two through holes, and the first terminal segment and the second terminal segment are respectively placed in the lower groove.
4. The inductor as claimed in claim 1, wherein the end of the first terminal segment is further bent upward to form a first hook, such that the first hook abuts against the sidewall of the first side where the magnetic core is located.
5. The inductor as claimed in claim 4, wherein a first side groove is recessed on the sidewall of the first side of the magnetic core, such that the first hook is inserted into the first side groove.
6. The inductor as claimed in claim 3, wherein the end of the first terminal segment is further bent upward to form a first hook, and a first side groove is recessed on the side wall of the magnetic core on the first side, such that the first hook is placed in the first side groove, and the first side groove is connected to the lower groove.
7. The inductor as claimed in claim 1, wherein the end of the second terminal segment is further bent upward to form a second hook, such that the second hook abuts against the sidewall on the second side where the magnetic core is located.
8. The inductor as claimed in claim 7, wherein a second side groove is recessed on the sidewall of the second side of the magnetic core, such that the second hook is inserted into the second side groove.
9. The inductor as claimed in claim 3, wherein the end of the second terminal segment is further bent upward to form a second hook, and a second side groove is recessed on the side wall of the magnetic core on the second side, such that the second hook is inserted into the second side groove, and the second side groove communicates with the lower groove.
10. The inductor as claimed in claim 3, wherein the height of the lower recess is less than or equal to the height of the first terminal segment or the second terminal segment.
11. The inductor as claimed in claim 1, wherein the two through holes are parallel to each other.
12. The inductor as claimed in claim 1, wherein an upper groove is recessed at the top of the magnetic core, a lower groove is recessed at the bottom of the magnetic core, a first side groove is recessed on a first side of the magnetic core, and a second side groove is recessed on a second side of the magnetic core, such that the upper groove, the first side groove, the lower groove and the second side groove are interconnected, surround the magnetic core, and their projections are aligned with the two through holes.
13. The inductor as claimed in claim 2, wherein the height of the upper groove is greater than the height of the top lead section.
