Abstract

An ultrasonically heat-pressed webbing includes a webbing body and a bundle head. The bundle head is connected to the webbing body and is made of a polymer material. The bundle head is also compacted by ultrasonic heat pressing and includes an outer surface. According to ASTM D790, the bundle head exhibits a bending stress greater than 10 MPa and less than 100 MPa at 5% strain. Using ultrasonic heat pressing to form the bundle head ensures sufficient strength, eliminates the need for additional plastic sheet removal during recycling, and reduces the amount of plastic materials and chemicals used, thus facilitating recycling and reducing chemical waste.

Claims

1. An ultrasonically heat-pressed webbing, comprising: a webbing body; and a bundle head connected to the webbing body and made of a polymer material, the bundle head being ultrasonically heat-pressed to compact it, and including an outer surface, the entire surface of which is in direct contact with the outside world, the bundle head being tested according to ASTM D790, wherein the bending stress of the bundle head at 5% strain is greater than 10 MPa and less than 100 MPa.

2. The ultrasonic hot-pressed webbing as described in claim 1, wherein, The head extends along a length direction, and one end of the head in that length direction is connected to the belt.

3. The ultrasonic hot-pressed webbing as described in claim 2, wherein, The head includes a rectangular cross-section perpendicular to the length direction, with any side of the rectangular cross-section having a length between 0.8 and 4 mm.

4. The ultrasonic hot-pressed webbing as described in claim 2, wherein, The head includes a circular cross-section perpendicular to the length direction, the diameter of which is between 1.8 and 2.2 mm.

5. The ultrasonic hot-pressed webbing as described in claim 2, wherein, The cross-sectional shape of the bundle head perpendicular to the length direction is one of the following: triangular, square, polygonal, Y-shaped, cross-shaped, star-shaped, and elliptical.

6. The ultrasonic hot-pressed webbing as described in claim 1, wherein, The polymer material is configured as polyester, nylon, PP, TPEE, or a combination thereof.

7. The ultrasonic hot-pressed webbing as described in claim 3, wherein, The two sides of the rectangular cross section are defined as a width and a thickness, respectively, with the ratio of the width to the thickness ranging from 0.9 to 5.

8. The ultrasonic hot-pressed webbing as described in claim 1, wherein, The density ratio of the bundle head to the belt body is between 7.1 and 9.

2.

9. The ultrasonic hot-pressed webbing as described in claim 1, wherein, According to ASTM D570 testing, the water absorption rate of the head after soaking for two hours is between 52% and 55%, and the water absorption rate of the belt after soaking for two hours is between 450% and 460%.
