Abstract

This invention discloses a sign language translation glasses that can instantly translate the sign language gestures of a sign language interpreter into a language that the hearing impaired can understand. The invention includes the glasses themselves, a control module, an image capture module, and a projection module. Through the collaborative hardware design of the image capture module and the projection module, this invention provides a device for the hearing impaired to wear and smoothly communicate with the sign language interpreter. The image capture module captures images of the sign language gestures and transmits them to the control module. After the control module analyzes and compiles the images, it drives the projection module to project an image onto the lenses, allowing the hearing impaired to understand the sign language meaning through the visual cues. This effectively solves the communication problems caused by the hearing impaired's inability to understand sign language.

Claims

1. A sign language translation glasses, mainly used for translating at least one sign language gesture (21) of a sign language interpreter (2), the sign language translation glasses (1) comprising at least: a glasses body (11), including a frame (111), two lenses (112), and two temples (113), wherein the lenses (112) are assembled in the frame (111), and the temples (113) are respectively disposed at two ends of the frame (111); a control module (12) embedded in the temples (113); An image capturing module (13) is disposed on the frame (111) and electrically connected to the control module (12), wherein the image capturing module (13) faces the sign language user (2) and captures the image of the sign language gesture (21); and a projection module (14) is disposed outside the temple (113) and electrically connected to the control module (12), wherein the control module (12) receives the image from the image capturing module (13) and drives the projection module (14) to project at least one image (1121) toward a lens (112).

2. The sign language translation glasses as described in claim 1, wherein the image capturing module (13) is either a high-resolution camera or a depth sensor.

3. The sign language translation glasses as described in claim 1, wherein the temple (113) is further embedded with a sound module (15) electrically connected to the control module (12), the sound module (15) receiving and playing sound from the control module (12).

4. The sign language translation glasses as described in claim 3, wherein the sound module (15) is a speaker.

5. The sign language interpreter glasses as described in claim 1, wherein a power supply module (16) is further embedded inside the temple (113), the power supply module (16) providing the electrical energy required for the operation of the sign language interpreter glasses (1).

The sign language translation glasses as described in claim 5, wherein the temple (113) is further embedded with a switch module (17) electrically connected to the power supply module (16), the switch module (17) activating the power supply module (16) to supply power to the sign language translation glasses (1).

The sign language translation glasses as described in claim 5, wherein a wireless charging receiver (18) electrically connected to the power supply module (16) is further provided below the frame (111), the wireless charging receiver (18) receiving power from a wireless charger and storing it in the power supply module (16).

8. The sign language translation glasses as described in claim 1, wherein the sign language translation glasses (1) further utilizes a wireless receiving device (19) electrically connected to an electronic device to receive information from the electronic device.
