Abstract

A lidless paper cup includes: a first covering wing connected to one side of the cup opening, the first covering wing having two first protrusions and a snap-fit flange located in a concave area formed between the two first protrusions; and a second covering wing connected to the other side of the cup opening, the second covering wing having two second protrusions and a snap-fit flange located in a concave area formed between the two second protrusions; wherein the first covering wing and the second covering wing can be folded inward toward the cup opening, so that the folding order is not restricted and they jointly cover the cup opening. When pressed down toward the cup opening, the first and second protrusions push and guide each other, so that the snap-fit flange passes over the snap-fit flange and snaps against each other, thereby eliminating the need to identify the sealing order, saving sealing time and reducing operational errors.

Claims

1. A lidless paper cup, comprising: one cup The body has a cup body and a cup mouth formed upward from the cup body; A first covering wing is integrally connected to one side of the cup rim. A first fold line is formed between the first covering wing and the cup body. The first covering wing has two first protrusions away from the first fold line, and a fastening flange is provided at the concave area formed between the two first protrusions. A second covering wing is integrally connected to the other side of the cup rim and is positioned opposite to the first covering wing. A second fold line is formed between the second covering wing and the cup body. The second covering wing has two second protrusions away from the second fold line, and a fastening flange is provided at the concave area formed between the two first protrusions. A fastening flange is provided in the concave area formed between the second protrusions; wherein, the first covering wing can fold inward toward the inside of the cup opening along the first fold line, and the second covering wing can fold inward toward the inside of the cup opening along the second fold line, so that the folding order of the first covering wing and the second covering wing is not restricted and they jointly cover the cup opening. When the first covering wing and the second covering wing are pressed down toward the inside of the cup opening by force, the fastening flange is fastened and fixed to each other after passing the fastening flange by the mutual pushing and guiding of the first protrusion and the second protrusion.

2. The lidless paper cup as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first covering wing and the second covering wing together cover the cup opening, forming two drinking openings on opposite sides of the cup opening.

3. The lidless paper cup as described in claim 2, wherein the first fold line and the second fold line are both arc-shaped, and the middle section of the first fold line and the second fold line is closer to the cup body than the two ends, and the two ends of the first fold line and the second fold line extend to the drinking spout respectively.

4. The lidless paper cup as described in claim 3, wherein both ends of the first fold line and both ends of the second fold line fork to form a widening fold line, the widening fold line being located at the drinking spout, and when the first covering wing and the second covering wing together cover the cup spout, the area around the drinking spout can be bent along the widening fold line under force, thereby increasing the opening area of the drinking spout.

5. The lidless paper cup as claimed in claim 4, wherein the flared folds are located on the opposite outer sides of the first fold and the second fold, and each flared fold gradually increases the relative distance between itself and the first fold or the second fold as it extends from the end of the first fold or the second fold toward the corresponding drinking spout.

6. The lidless paper cup as described in claim 3, wherein the first covering wing and the second covering wing each form a third fold line at both ends adjacent to the drinking spout, and when the first covering wing and the second covering wing together cover the spout, the first covering wing and the second covering wing can be slightly bent along the third fold line, so that the ends of the first covering wing and the second covering wing form a slightly upward tilted state, thereby increasing the degree to which the first covering wing and the second covering wing fit together.

7. The lidless paper cup as described in claim 6, wherein the third fold lines of the first covering wing extend from the first protrusion to the first fold line, the third fold lines of the second covering wing extend from the second protrusion to the second fold line, and when the first covering wing and the second covering wing together cover the cup opening and bend along the third fold line, the two adjacent third fold lines on the first covering wing and the second covering wing are parallel to each other.

8. The lidless paper cup as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first or second covering wing has at least one straw insertion port, and a perforated baffle is integrally formed inside the straw insertion port, the baffle covering the straw insertion port in the unused state, and being punctured by a straw to form an opening for the straw to be inserted.

9. The lidless paper cup as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cup body, the first covering wing and the second covering wing are integrally cut from a cardboard, the cardboard having two oppositely arranged fitting sides and a bottom edge located between the fitting sides, the cardboard being wound so that the fitting sides overlap and fix each other to form the cup body, and the bottom edge being joined with a cup bottom to jointly form the cup body.

10. The lidless paper cup as described in claim 9, wherein after the first covering wing and the second covering wing jointly cover the cup opening, the upper part of the cup opening forms an outline that is wider in the middle and gradually narrows at both ends, and the outline is rugby-shaped when viewed from above.
