Abstract
Claims
1. A dual-mode pore size analyzer for analyzing the pore size of a porous material, the dual-mode pore size analyzer comprising: At least one container for containing the porous material, wherein the porous material is adapted to be wetted by a wetting liquid; A gas passage connected to the at least one container; A pressure controller for regulating the gas pressure in the gas passage; at least one pressure sensor for sensing the gas pressure in the gas passage; At least one gas flow sensor is disposed on the gas channel and is used to sense the flow rate of gas passing through the gas channel; A fluid flow meter is disposed downstream of the at least one container, wherein the gas passage is located upstream of the at least one container; The system also includes a controller electrically connected to the pressure controller, the at least one pressure sensor, the at least one gas flow sensor, and the fluid flow meter, for switching between a gas-liquid test mode and a liquid-liquid test mode. When the controller operates in the gas-liquid test mode, it controls the gas in the gas channel to push and expel the wetting liquid from the porous material, and analyzes the pore size of the porous material based on changes in gas pressure sensed by the at least one pressure sensor and changes in flow rate sensed by the at least one gas flow sensor. When the controller operates in the liquid-liquid test mode, it controls the gas in the gas channel to push and expel a test liquid from the at least one container, causing the test liquid to push and expel the wetting liquid from the porous material, and analyzes the pore size of the porous material based on changes in pressure sensed by the at least one pressure sensor and changes in flow rate sensed by the fluid flow meter.

The dual-test-mode pore size analyzer as claimed in claim 1 further includes an output channel connected downstream of the at least one container and used to allow the extruded wetting liquid and the test liquid to flow to the flow meter, wherein the flow meter is used to measure the flow rate of the wetting liquid and the test liquid flowing to the flow meter.
3. The dual-test-mode aperture analyzer as described in claim 1, wherein the fluid flow meter includes a breakthrough meter, a wet flow meter, or a closed-system flow meter.
4. The dual-test-mode aperture analyzer as claimed in claim 1, wherein the liquid flow sensing range of the fluid flow meter falls within the range of 0.00001 cc / s to 1000 cc / min.
5. The dual-test-mode aperture analyzer as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one gas flow sensor comprises a mass flow controller, a mass flow meter, or a combination thereof.
