Abstract

This invention provides an improved bamboo strip clamp structure for saxophones. The clamp is used to fix the bamboo strip to the mouthpiece of the saxophone. The clamp is a tubular element made of metal with a front port and a rear port at both ends along its axial direction. The inner wall of the tube facing the rear port has several grooves at equal intervals. In particular, the length of the groove can be a section of the distance from the front port to the rear port, or the entire distance from the front port to the rear port. The clamp of this invention can be easily installed or removed from the mouthpiece, and its position can be quickly adjusted on the mouthpiece to control the tightness of the bamboo strip and the mouthpiece, thereby improving the vibration and resonance during playing. It can also achieve the effect of switching between different timbres through instant adjustment.
