Abstract
Claims
1. A chip resistor comprising: a substrate; two electrode blocks formed on opposite sides of the substrate at intervals along a current direction intended to allow current to flow; and a resistive layer formed on the substrate and between the electrode blocks, having at least one resistance-reducing region extending in a direction parallel to the current direction.
2. The wafer resistor as described in claim 1, wherein, The resistance-repairing region of the resistive layer is connected between the electrode blocks.
3. The chip resistor as claimed in claim 1 further includes an auxiliary electrode sheet disposed on the substrate and between the electrode blocks, wherein, The resistive layer has two resistance-repairing regions respectively connected between the auxiliary electrode sheet and the electrode blocks.
4. The wafer resistor as described in claim 3, wherein, The resistance zones of the resistive layer are spaced apart and staggered along a reference direction perpendicular to the current direction.
5. The wafer resistor as described in claim 3 or 4, wherein, The resistance-repairing regions of the resistive layer are connected between the electrode blocks and the auxiliary electrode sheet.
6. The wafer resistor as described in claim 3 or 4, wherein, The auxiliary electrode sheet includes two side edges facing the electrode blocks respectively, and at least one side edge has a plurality of segmented sections that are at different distances from the electrode blocks on the same side along the current direction.
7. The wafer resistor as described in claim 6, wherein, The resistance-repairing regions of the resistive layer are connected between the segments of the electrode blocks and the auxiliary electrode sheet.
8. The chip resistor as described in claim 3 or 4 further includes a protective unit covering the resistive layer and the auxiliary electrode sheet.
