Abstract

One embodiment of this disclosure relates to a current sensing element, including a first heat dissipation layer, a sensing layer, and a protective layer. The first heat dissipation layer has a first portion and a second portion. The first thickness of the first portion is greater than the second thickness of the second portion. The sensing layer is in direct contact with the first portion of the first heat dissipation layer. The protective layer is disposed between the sensing layer and the second portion of the first heat dissipation layer.

Claims

1. A current sensing element, comprising: a first heat dissipation layer having a first portion and a second portion, wherein a first thickness of the first portion is greater than a second thickness of the second portion; a sensing layer in direct contact with the first portion of the first heat dissipation layer; and a protective layer disposed between the sensing layer and the second portion of the first heat dissipation layer.

2. The current sensing element as claimed in claim 1 further comprises: a second heat dissipation layer that directly contacts the sensing layer and is separated from the first heat dissipation layer by a gap.

3. The current sensing element as claimed in claim 2, wherein the second heat dissipation layer has a third portion and a fourth portion, wherein a third thickness of the third portion is greater than a fourth thickness of the fourth portion.

4. The current sensing element as described in claim 2, wherein a portion of the protective layer is located within the gap.

5. The current sensing element as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sensing layer has a first surface facing the first heat dissipation layer and a second surface opposite to the first surface, and wherein the protective layer extends between the first surface and the second surface.

6. The current sensing element as claimed in claim 5 further comprises: an end electrode, wherein a portion of the end electrode is located between the first surface of the sensing layer and the first portion of the first heat dissipation layer.

7. The current sensing element as claimed in claim 5, wherein one edge of the second surface of the sensing layer has an arc shape.
