Abstract

An optical relay includes a light-emitting element, a photodetector, a switching element, and a circuit board. The light-emitting element is stacked on the photodetector, the photodetector is stacked on the switching element, and the photodetector is electrically connected to the switching element. The switching element is stacked on the circuit board via a ball grid array (BGA) structure and is electrically connected to the circuit board.

Claims

1. A photoelectric relay, comprising: Light-emitting elements; A photoelectric sensor, wherein the light-emitting element is stacked on the photoelectric sensor; A switching element, wherein the photosensitive sensor is stacked on the switching element and electrically connected to the switching element; and a circuit board, wherein the switching element is stacked on the circuit board via a ball grid array (BGA) structure and electrically connected to the circuit board.

2. The opto-relay as claimed in claim 1, wherein the circuit board is a printed circuit board or a carrier board.

3. The photorelay as claimed in claim 1 further includes an insulating sheet stacked between the light-emitting element and the photosensitive element.

4. The photorelay as claimed in claim 3, wherein the insulating sheet is glass or polyester film.

5. The photorelay as claimed in claim 1 further includes an electrical isolation layer disposed between the switching element and the photosensitive sensor.

6. The photorelay as claimed in claim 5, wherein the photoelectrosensor is electrically connected to the switching element or the circuit board via a wire.

7. The photorelay as claimed in claim 1, wherein the light-emitting element is electrically connected to the circuit board via a wire.

8. The photorelay as claimed in claim 1, wherein the light-emitting element is a light-emitting diode (LED) and the switching element includes a metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET).
