Abstract

A side-jet inkjet module is suitable for handheld or vertical printing devices. The side-jet inkjet module includes an ink cartridge, multiple sponges, and an inkjet head chip assembly. The ink cartridge has multiple chambers arranged along a longitudinal axis, and these chambers are independently separated from each other. Sponges are placed within each chamber and absorb ink. The inkjet head chip assembly is disposed on the outer side of the ink cartridge, and the length of the inkjet head chip assembly corresponds to the length of the ink cartridge, covering the chambers. The inkjet head chip assembly has multiple independently separated inkjet channels, each correspondingly connected to one of the chambers.

Claims

1. A side-jet inkjet module, suitable for handheld or vertical printing devices, the side-jet inkjet module comprising: The ink cartridge has multiple chambers arranged along a longitudinal axis, and these chambers are independent and separate spaces from each other; multiple sponges are placed in the chambers and absorb ink; and an inkjet chip assembly is disposed on the outer side of the ink cartridge, and the length of the inkjet chip assembly corresponds to the length of the ink cartridge and covers the chambers, wherein the inkjet chip assembly has multiple independent inkjet channels that are respectively connected to the chambers.

2. The side-jet inkjet module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the length of the inkjet head chip assembly is greater than or equal to 3 inches.

3. The side-jet inkjet module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the inkjet head chip assembly has an integral and continuous substrate.

4. The side-jet inkjet module as described in claim 3, wherein the substrate is made of glass.

5. The side-jet inkjet module as claimed in claim 1, wherein when the side-jet inkjet module is performing inkjet printing, the longitudinal axis is aligned with the direction of gravity.

The side-jet inkjet module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the inkjet head chip assembly includes a substrate, a chip layer, a dry film layer and a nozzle plate stacked in sequence, and each inkjet channel includes a plurality of inkjet holes of the nozzle plate and a plurality of channel sections formed on the substrate, the chip layer and the dry film layer.

7. The side-jet inkjet module as claimed in claim 6, wherein the inkjet head chip assembly further includes a flexible circuit board electrically connected to the chip layer to synchronously control the inkjet channels.

8. The side-jet inkjet module as claimed in claim 6, wherein the dry film layer has a plurality of slots arranged along the longitudinal axis, and a plurality of spaced-apart blocking bridges are formed between the slots to form the flow channel sections of the dry film layer.

The side-jet inkjet module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cartridge body has multiple channels that are independently separated from each other and are correspondingly connected to the chambers, and the cartridge also includes multiple filters and multiple sealing rings, which are respectively disposed at the junctions of the channels and the chambers.

The side-jet inkjet module as claimed in claim 9, wherein the cartridge body of the ink cartridge further has a blocking protrusion located on the outer side, abutting against the inkjet head chip assembly to maintain the independence of the channels so that the channels correspond to the inkjet flow channels respectively.
