Abstract

This computerized pattern sewing machine includes: a needle plate, a needle, a shuttle, a movable cutter, a fixed cutter, a thread spring, and a controller. The movable cutter, besides being used to cut the thread at the end of sewing, can also be moved to the thread clamping position by the controller during the initial sewing stage. The movable cutter and the thread spring can then clamp the thread end together. With the thread end clamped and at least one stitch completed, the controller moves the movable cutter to the cutting position, allowing the movable and fixed cutters to cut off a portion of the thread end. 1.
