Abstract

A refrigerator includes a cabinet, two support members, and at least one shelf assembly. The cabinet includes a main body and an inner shell connected to the main body. The inner shell has a left side wall, a right side wall, a left convex strip formed on the left side wall and extending forward and backward, and a right convex strip formed on the right side wall and extending forward and backward. The support members are respectively disposed on the left side wall and the right side wall, which are movably locating vertically. The shelf assembly includes a first plate and a second plate that engages with the first plate and is movable relative to the first plate. The left and right side edges of the first plate and the left and right side edges of the second plate respectively abut against the left convex strip and the right convex strip. When the second plate moves forward and disengages from the left and right convex strips, the second plate abuts against the support members and is pressed down by gravity, causing the height of the second plate to be lower than that of the first plate.

A refrigerator, comprising: a cabinet including a main body and an inner shell connected to the main body, the inner shell having a left side wall, a right side wall, a left convex strip formed on the left side wall and extending front-to-back, and a right convex strip formed on the right side wall and extending front-to-back; a refrigeration unit disposed on the main body; two support members respectively disposed vertically on the left side wall and the right side wall; and at least one layer of plates including a first plate and a second plate joined to the first plate and movable relative to the first plate, the left and right side edges of the first plate and the left and right side edges of the second plate respectively abutting against the left convex strip and the right convex strip, wherein... When the second plate moves forward and disengages from the left and right protrusions, the second plate will abut against the support members and be pressed down by gravity, so that the height of the second plate is lower than that of the first plate.
