Adjustable neck brace

Abstract

This invention relates to an adjustable neck brace, comprising: a neck collar, a positioning mechanism, a chin support, and at least one connector. The neck collar includes an inner neck collar element and an outer neck collar element, which are detachably connected to each other. The outer neck collar element includes a sliding engagement groove extending in a forward direction and having a first engagement portion. The positioning mechanism is movably disposed on the outer neck collar element along the sliding engagement groove. The positioning mechanism includes a mounting portion, an actuating member, a position limiting block, and a pin. The mounting portion is slidably disposed on the outer neck collar element, the actuating member is connected to a mounting body of the mounting portion, and the pin passes through the mounting portion. The sliding engagement groove and the position limiting block are connected to the actuator. The position limiting block includes an elongated slot. The pin has a second engagement portion and a flange. The flange extends radially from the second engagement portion and is movably accommodated in the elongated slot. The second engagement portion can selectively engage and be positioned with the first engagement portion. The chin support is relatively movably connected to the inner neck collar element. The at least one connector connects the position limiting block and the chin support and is movably disposed between the inner neck collar element and the outer neck collar element.

Claims

1. An adjustable neck brace, comprising: A neck collar includes an inner neck collar element and an outer neck collar element, the inner neck collar element and the outer neck collar element being detachably connected to each other. The outer neck collar element includes a sliding fitting groove, the sliding fitting groove extending along an extension direction and having a first fitting portion. A positioning mechanism is movably disposed on the outer neck collar element along the sliding fitting groove, including a mounting portion, an actuator, a position limiting block and a pin. The mounting portion is slidably disposed on the outer neck collar element. The actuator is connected to the mounting body of the mounting portion. The pin passes through the sliding fitting groove and the position limiting block and is connected to the actuator. The position limiting block includes an elongated slot. The pin has a second fitting portion and a flange, the flange extending radially from the second fitting portion. The flange is movably accommodated in the elongated slot along the elongated slot. The second fitting portion can selectively engage and be positioned with the first fitting portion. A chin support is movably connected to the inner neck ring element; and at least one connector connects the position limiting block to the chin support and is movably disposed between the inner neck ring element and the outer neck ring element.

2. The adjustable neck brace as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first fitting portion includes a plurality of recesses arranged at intervals along the extending direction, and the second fitting portion is selectively fitted with one of the recesses.

3. The adjustable neck brace as claimed in claim 1, wherein the inner neck ring element further has two guide grooves located on both sides of the sliding engagement groove, and the at least one connector is slidably inserted through the two guide grooves.

4. The adjustable neck brace as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one connector is a flexible member.

5. The adjustable neck brace as claimed in claim 1, wherein the position limiting block and the at least one connector are integrally formed.

The adjustable neck brace as claimed in claim 1, wherein the outer neck collar element further includes two through slots extending along the extension direction and disposed on both sides of the sliding engagement slot, the actuator passing through one of the two through slots, and the pin passing through and connected to the actuator.
