Abstract

A smart intersection active warning system with a low-power dual-sensing architecture includes a power supply unit, a microprocessor controller, a millimeter-wave radar sensing unit, an image recognition module, and an active warning and guidance device. This invention utilizes millimeter-wave radar as a digital trigger switch for the image recognition module. In standby mode, it uses only low-power radar to monitor the movement of objects. Once an object is detected, it wakes up the image recognition module to confirm whether it is a vehicle, and simultaneously activates warning lights and road guidance lights to assist in vehicle positioning, thereby significantly reducing power consumption and reducing intersection collision accidents.

Claims

1. A smart intersection active warning system with a low-power dual-sensing architecture, comprising a power supply unit, a microprocessor controller, a millimeter-wave radar sensing unit, an image recognition module, and an active warning guidance device; characterized in that: the output terminal of the millimeter-wave radar sensing unit is electrically connected to the input terminal of the microprocessor controller; the output terminal of the microprocessor controller is electrically connected to the input terminals of the image recognition module and the active warning guidance device respectively; the microprocessor controller is provided with a low-power logic that maintains only the operation of the millimeter-wave radar sensing unit in standby mode, wakes up the image recognition module to make a judgment after detecting an object, and drives the active warning guidance device after confirming that it is a vehicle.
