Medical aids used in free flap surgery

Abstract

This invention discloses a medical aid for free flap surgery. The aid has a main body, characterized by comprising a plurality of sheet pieces, each sheet having a plurality of connecting portions located at its edges. These connecting portions allow the sheet pieces to be assembled and joined together to form the main body. The sheet pieces are designed based on patient data and manufactured using 3D printing. When the surgeon needs to harvest the flap, the sheet pieces are first separated and flattened at the site where the flap will be harvested. After harvesting the flap, the sheet pieces are then assembled back into the main body, and the flap is sutured over the main body. Finally, the sutured flap is transplanted to the affected area. Therefore, this invention allows surgeons to know the flap's transplantation range and volume preoperatively, enabling precise flap harvesting.

Claims

1. A medical aid for use in free flap surgery, the medical aid having a body, characterized in that: the body includes a plurality of pieces, the pieces having a plurality of connecting parts, the connecting parts being disposed at the edges of the pieces, so that the pieces are assembled and joined together through the connecting parts to form the body, and the pieces are designed based on a patient area and manufactured by 3D printing.

2. The medical aid for free flap surgery as described in claim 1, wherein the joints include at least one first joint and at least one second joint.

The medical aid for free flap surgery as described in claim 2, wherein the sheet system includes a first sheet, a second sheet and a third sheet, and the first sheet has a first joint portion on both edges, the second sheet has a first joint portion and a second joint portion on both edges respectively, and the third sheet has a second joint portion on both edges.

4. The medical aid for free flap surgery as described in claim 3, wherein the first connecting part is a post and the second connecting part is a socket.

5. The medical aid used in free flap surgery as described in any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the patient data includes internal patient data obtained by computed tomography (CT) and external patient data obtained by 3D photography.
