Abstract

This invention relates to a monitoring and warning system for the use status of a medical drug, comprising: a placement platform for placing a medical drug; a display device disposed on the placement platform for setting a countdown time and sending an alarm when the countdown time reaches zero; and a sensor disposed on the placement platform at a distance from the display device and electrically connected to the display device, wherein: when the sensor changes from an unpressurized state to a pressurized state, the sensor controls the display device to start the countdown time; and after the display device sends the alarm, if the sensor changes from a pressurized state to an unpressurized state, the sensor controls the display device to turn off the alarm.

Claims

1. A monitoring and alerting system for the usage status of a medical drug, comprising: a placement platform for placing a medical drug; a display device disposed on the placement platform for setting a countdown time and sending an alert when the countdown time reaches zero; and a sensor disposed on the placement platform at a distance from the display device and electrically connected to the display device, wherein: When the sensor changes from an unpressed state to a pressurized state, the sensor controls the display device to start the countdown timer; and when the display device sends the warning, if the sensor changes from a pressurized state to an unpressurized state, the sensor controls the display device to turn off the warning.

The medical drug usage status monitoring and warning system as described in claim 1, wherein the display device comprises: a display screen; and a timing module electrically connected to the display screen to set and generate the countdown time and transmit the countdown time to the display screen for display, wherein the timing module comprises: an increment button for increasing the length of the countdown time when the countdown time is set, and a decrement button for decreasing the length of the countdown time when the countdown time is set.

3. The medical drug usage status monitoring and warning system as described in claim 2, further comprising: a warning module, which is installed in the display device and electrically connected to the timing module, so as to generate the warning when the countdown time reaches zero.

The medical drug usage status monitoring and warning system as described in claim 3, further comprising: a recording module disposed in the display device and electrically connected to the warning module and the timing module respectively, to record the start time of the countdown time and obtain a placement timestamp, and to record the end time of the warning time and obtain a retrieval timestamp, and to store the placement timestamp and the retrieval timestamp in a database.

The medical drug usage status monitoring and warning system as described in claim 3, further comprising: a wireless communication module disposed in the display device and electrically connected to the warning module, so as to transmit a warning signal for a wireless device to receive when the warning module generates the warning.

6. The medical drug usage status monitoring and alerting system as described in claim 5, wherein the wireless device includes: a mobile phone, a tablet, or a laptop.

7. The medical drug usage status monitoring and alert system as described in claim 5, wherein the wireless communication module transmits alert signals via WiFi or Bluetooth.

The medical drug usage status monitoring and alerting system as described in claim 2, further comprising: a placement area formed on one side of the placement platform for placing the medical drug, wherein the sensor is disposed within the area selected by the placement area, so that pressure can be applied to the sensor when the medical drug is placed in the placement area.

The medical drug usage status monitoring and alerting system as described in claim 8, further comprising: a weight sensing module disposed inside the placement platform and correspondingly disposed in relation to the placement area, for measuring the weight of the medical drug when it is placed in the placement area and generating weight sensing information; and a control module disposed in the display device and electrically connected to the weight sensing module and the display screen respectively, for receiving the weight sensing information, converting it into weight display information, and transmitting it to the display screen for display.

The medical drug usage status monitoring and warning system as described in claim 2, further comprising: a time module, which is installed in the display device and electrically connected to the display screen, to obtain the local standard time of the geographical location where the medical drug usage status monitoring and warning system is located via a network time server and transmit it to the display screen for display.

The medical drug usage status monitoring and warning system as described in claim 1, wherein the warning includes: an audio warning, which randomly selects an audio file from a preset audio source database for playback; a light warning, which emits light with preset light color, light intensity, and flashing frequency; or a vibration warning, which generates vibration with preset vibration frequency and vibration intensity.
