Abstract

A radio frequency identification (RFID) nameplate includes a nameplate body with a surface and an inner surface, and at least two first through holes and a second through hole extending along a thickness direction. A support foot is formed on the inner surface corresponding to each of the first through holes. Each support foot has a coplanar abutment surface, and each abutment surface and the inner surface have a height difference along the thickness direction. A fixing element is inserted through the second through hole, with a device head and a fastener at both ends. The length of the fastener along the thickness direction is shorter than the height difference. A partially exposed RFID element is provided on the device head. When this invention is used, the nameplate body is fixed to the surface of an object or machine. Since the fastener does not interfere with the surface of the object or machine, the flatness of the installation is improved, and the RFID element allows a reader to read information.

Claims

1. A radio frequency identification (RFID) nameplate, comprising: A nameplate body has a facing surface and an inner surface. At least two first through holes and a second through hole are formed in the nameplate body. Each of the first through holes and the second through hole penetrates the nameplate body along a thickness direction. A support foot is formed on the inner surface corresponding to each of the first through holes. Each of the first through holes penetrates the corresponding support foot. Each support foot has a mating surface. Each mating surface is coplanar and has a height difference length with the inner surface along the thickness direction. A fixing element includes a device head, a buckle, and a neck. The neck passes through the second through hole and is connected to the device head and the buckle at both ends. The device head abuts against the periphery of the second through hole at one end corresponding to the surface. The buckle abuts against the periphery of the second through hole at the other end corresponding to the inner surface. The length of the buckle along the thickness direction is shorter than the height difference length. A radio frequency identification element is disposed on the device head and is at least partially exposed outside the device head.

2. The radio frequency identification (RFID) label as described in claim 1, wherein the RFID element comprises a body and an electronic tag, the body being made of plastic, the electronic tag being enclosed within the body and including an RFID chip.

The radio frequency identification nameplate as described in claim 2, wherein the head of the device has a receiving hole; the body is embedded in the receiving hole, and the outer peripheral portion of the body forms a protruding ring portion that is compressed and deformed against the peripheral wall of the receiving hole.

The radio frequency identification nameplate as claimed in claim 1, wherein the outer diameter of the device head is greater than the outer diameter of the buckle, and the length of the device head along the thickness direction is greater than the length of the buckle along the thickness direction.

The radio frequency identification nameplate as claimed in claim 1, wherein a groove is formed on the surface corresponding to each of the first perforations; each groove is formed by stamping on the nameplate body, the shape of each support foot corresponds to the shape of each groove, and each support foot protrudes from the inner surface due to the formation of each groove.

The radio frequency identification nameplate as claimed in claim 5, wherein the nameplate body is a rectangular metal plate having a central portion and a peripheral portion surrounding the central portion, the at least two first perforations including four first perforations formed at the four corners of the nameplate body; the second perforation is formed on one side of the peripheral portion.
