Keyboard backlight module construction

Abstract

This invention relates to a backlight module structure for a keyboard, which consists of a circuit layer, a light guide layer, and a light-shielding and dimming layer sequentially stacked on a substrate. The circuit layer includes a circuit substrate and a circuit layout layer. A light guide layer and a light-shielding and dimming layer are then sequentially stacked on the circuit layout layer. The plurality of light emitters on the circuit layout layer are each provided with a connecting portion that can be electrically connected to the circuit layout layer. A diffusion layer with a plurality of receiving areas is stacked on top of the circuit layout layer. That is, a plurality of connecting portions are provided in the plurality of receiving areas for the plurality of connecting portions to be electrically connected to the circuit layout layer. The light guide layer on the diffusion layer is provided with a plurality of receiving areas for accommodating the plurality of light emitters. A light-shielding and dimming layer is then stacked on the light guide layer, achieving the purpose of power saving, miniaturization, and uniform brightness display.
