Abstract

This invention discloses a risk assessment system for pigeon racing, comprising: a database storing training data, race results, and weather data; and a processor that transmits data to the database, the processor having a data processing module, a calculation module, and a recommendation module, wherein: the data processing module is used to extract the data and analyze it using machine learning algorithms to generate predicted speed results; the calculation module matches the predicted speed result for each pigeon with the race rules to calculate the winning probability of the pigeon in the corresponding race; and the recommendation module generates a risk assessment report based on the weather data forecasted before the race, combined with the predicted speed result and winning probability of the pigeon, and presents the risk assessment report to the user interface.

Claims

1. A risk assessment system for pigeon racing, comprising: A database comprising a training database, a competition database, and an environmental database, wherein the training database stores at least one training data set, the competition database receives and stores at least one competition result, and the environmental database stores at least one meteorological data set; and a processor connected to the database via wired or wireless means and capable of transmitting data between them, comprising a data processing module, a computing module, and a recommendation module, wherein: the data processing module acquires the training data, the competition result, and the meteorological data, and analyzes the training data, the competition result, and the meteorological data using at least one machine learning algorithm to generate a predicted speed result; The calculation module is electrically connected to the data processing module and calculates the winning probability of each racing pigeon in the corresponding race by matching the predicted speed result of each pigeon with a race rule. The recommendation module is electrically connected to the calculation module and generates a risk assessment report based on the weather forecast data of the racing pigeon before the race, combined with the predicted speed result and winning probability of the racing pigeon, and presents the risk assessment report to a user interface.

2. The racing pigeon risk assessment system as described in claim 1, wherein the training data includes loft information, racing pigeon ring number, homing date and arrival time.

3. The racing pigeon risk assessment system as described in claim 2, wherein the loft information includes the loft number and the loft's latitude and longitude.

4. The racing pigeon risk assessment system as described in claim 2, wherein the training data further includes racing pigeon physiological information, which includes sex, plumage color and eye condition.

5. The pigeon racing risk assessment system as described in claim 1, wherein the race results include whether the pigeon returns or not, arrival time, destination latitude and longitude, actual speed and ranking.

6. The racing pigeon risk assessment system as described in claim 1, wherein the meteorological data includes wind direction, wind speed, visibility, rainfall, season, and temperature.

7. The pigeon racing risk assessment system as described in claim 6, wherein the meteorological data further includes sea conditions, air pressure, and upper-level wind fields.

8. The pigeon racing risk assessment system as described in claim 1, wherein the machine learning algorithm is at least one of an extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost) algorithm, a light gradient boosting machine (LightGBM) algorithm, and a random forest algorithm to analyze the training data, the race results, and the meteorological data.

9. The pigeon racing risk assessment system as described in claim 1, wherein the risk assessment report includes the probability of winning, a weather fit, and a risk index.

10. The pigeon racing risk assessment system as described in claim 9, wherein the winning probability includes at least a top ten probability, a prize-winning probability, and a return probability.

11. The pigeon racing risk assessment system as described in claim 9, wherein the risk assessment report further includes a potential index.
