Abstract

This invention provides a monitoring system integrating heterogeneous non-image sensors, comprising first and second non-image sensors installed in different security areas, a central control gateway, and a pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera. The two sensors detect physical anomalies and emit first and second trigger signals, respectively. The central control gateway is communicatively connected to the sensors and stores a spatial mapping table recording the identification codes of each sensor and the corresponding spatial coordinate parameters of the area. When the gateway receives two trigger signals within a preset time period, it queues them into an event queue according to a first-come, first-served principle and converts the signals into control commands containing the corresponding spatial coordinate parameters according to the timing and mapping table. The PTZ camera is connected to the gateway and receives the control commands, adjusting its shooting direction to capture the first or second security area.

Claims

1. A monitoring system integrating heterogeneous non-image sensors, comprising: A first non-image sensor is disposed in the first security area to detect a first physical anomaly and to emit a first trigger signal; A second non-image sensor, located within a second security area, is used to detect a second physical anomaly and emit a second trigger signal, wherein the second security area is different from the first security area; a central control gateway is communicatively connected to the first and second non-image sensors, and is used to store a spatial mapping table and send a control command, wherein the spatial mapping table records the first identification code of the first non-image sensor, the first spatial coordinate parameters of the first security area, the second identification code of the second non-image sensor, and the second spatial coordinate parameters of the second security area; when the central control gateway receives the first and second trigger signals within a preset time period, the central control gateway executes the command according to the first-come, first-served principle. The first and second trigger signals are queued into an event queue according to the First-Served (FCFS) principle. The central control gateway further converts the first trigger signal into a control command containing the first spatial coordinate parameter, or the second trigger signal into a control command containing the second spatial coordinate parameter, according to the time sequence in the event queue and the spatial mapping table. A pan-tilt zoom camera is communicatively connected to the central control gateway to receive the control command. The pan-tilt zoom camera is used to adjust the shooting direction according to the control command to shoot the first security area or the second security area.

2. The monitoring system integrating heterogeneous non-image sensors as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the first non-image sensor and the second non-image sensor comprises: Passive infrared sensors, door magnetic sensors, and water immersion sensors.

3. The monitoring system integrating heterogeneous non-image sensors as described in claim 1, wherein the central control gateway supports multiple wireless communication protocols, including sub 1G, Matter, and Wi-Fi.

4. The monitoring system integrating heterogeneous non-image sensors as described in claim 1 further includes a user terminal device communicatively connected to the central control gateway. The user terminal device is used to run an application to manually control the shooting direction of the pan-tilt zoom camera to align with the first security area or the second security area. The application is further used to record the first spatial coordinate parameters or the second spatial coordinate parameters in the spatial mapping table when the shooting direction is aligned.

5. The monitoring system integrating heterogeneous non-image sensors as described in claim 1, wherein the control command includes a preset duration, and the central control gateway is further configured to wait for the time specified by the preset duration to elapse after sending the control command, and then send the next control command according to the time sequence in the event queue, until both the first security area and the second security area have completed recording.

6. The monitoring system integrating heterogeneous non-image sensors as described in claim 1, wherein the pan-tilt zoom camera is used to transmit high-quality images to the central control gateway when the control command is received, and to transmit low-bitrate heartbeat signals to the central control gateway when the control command is not received.

7. The monitoring system integrating heterogeneous non-image sensors as described in claim 1, wherein the preset duration is 15 seconds.

8. The monitoring system integrating heterogeneous non-image sensors as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the first security area and the second security area comprises: Doors, windows, passageways, and computer rooms.
