Abstract

An external computer screen opening / closing device includes a sensing device, a transmission line, and an electrical connector. The sensing device includes a low-resolution sensing unit and a processing unit. The low-resolution sensing unit senses a blurry image in front of the sensing device, and the processing unit determines the motion of the image and generates a discrimination signal. The transmission line is connected to the sensing device to receive and transmit the discrimination signal. One end of the electrical connector is connected to the transmission line, and the other end is connected to a computer host with a Microsoft operating system. The discrimination signal is transmitted to the Microsoft operating system in the computer host, thereby allowing the Microsoft operating system to open or close the screen connected to the computer host and to promote ESG energy saving and carbon reduction based on the discrimination signal.

Claims

1. An external computer screen opening and closing device, comprising: A sensing device includes a low-resolution sensing unit and a processing unit connected to the low-resolution sensing unit. The low-resolution sensing unit senses an image in front of the sensing device, and the processing unit determines the motion of the image and generates a discrimination signal. A transmission line is connected to the sensing device to receive and transmit the discrimination signal from the sensing device. An electrical connector is connected at one end to the transmission line and at the other end to a computer host with a Microsoft operating system. The connector transmits the discrimination signal to the Microsoft operating system on the computer host, and the Microsoft operating system can then turn a screen connected to the computer host on or off based on the discrimination signal.

2. An external computer screen opening and closing device as described in claim 1, wherein the Microsoft system is Windows 11 23H2 or later.

3. The external computer screen opening and closing device as described in claim 1, wherein the electrical connector is USB.

4. The external computer screen opening and closing device as described in claim 1, wherein the low-resolution sensing unit is a 320x240 low-resolution sensing unit.

5. The external computer screen opening and closing device as described in claim 1, wherein the sensing device is provided with a clamp for positioning the sensing device on the screen to which the computer host is connected.

6. An external computer screen opening and closing device as described in claim 1 or 5, wherein the computer host includes either a notebook computer or a desktop computer.

7. The external computer screen opening and closing device as described in claim 1, wherein the transmission line is a flexible transmission line.
