Abstract

The purpose of this invention is to provide a de-cornering device suitable for de-cornering thin workpieces. This invention is a de-cornering device for the end of a thin plate-shaped workpiece, characterized by: a holding part for the thin plate-shaped workpiece and a grinding stone; the grinding stone having a grinding groove, the grinding groove being U-shaped in cross-section and having a groove width greater than the thickness of the thin plate-shaped workpiece; the de-cornering device having a trajectory control part for the relative rotational movement of the end of the thin plate-shaped workpiece and the grinding groove; the trajectory control part being a helical trajectory control part, which controls the end of the thin plate-shaped workpiece to move along the X-axis direction and simultaneously controls the end of the thin plate-shaped workpiece to move along the Z-axis direction when the depth direction of the grinding groove is defined as the X-axis and the groove width direction is defined as the Z-axis.
