Abstract

This invention proposes a durable air main valve and a pneumatic dual-diaphragm pump equipped with the air main valve. The durable air main valve includes a valve body with a left and a right cover installed at both ends. A reversing plate is also installed on the valve body, with a first working hole, a second working hole, and an exhaust hole located between them. Two valve core sleeves and a piston sleeve are installed inside the valve body. A valve core is installed inside each of the two valve core sleeves, with a piston at one end of each valve core. A sliding cover is installed on one side of each valve core, with a recessed hole at its bottom. The valve body also has an air interface, a first connecting hole, and a second connecting hole. A connecting groove is also provided on the valve core. The piston sleeve in this air main valve reduces the friction coefficient between the piston and the valve body, reducing the probability of wear and damage to the sliding seal ring. This, in turn, reduces the probability of reduced efficiency and malfunctions in the air main valve due to wear and damage to the sliding seal ring.

1.
