DC power distribution unit

Abstract

This invention provides a DC power distribution unit comprising: at least one power distribution module; for each power distribution module, the module includes a first current sensing device, a second current sensing device, a first contactor, a second contactor, and a power transmission line connected to the power output terminal of a high-voltage DC (HVDC) power supply system; the first current sensing device is located on the positive DC power transmission line; the second current sensing device is located on the negative DC power transmission line. Optionally, the first contactor is located on the positive DC power transmission line, and the second contactor is located on the negative DC power transmission line. This invention determines the fault state of the DC power distribution unit based on the first and second current sensing devices, thereby improving the safety of the DC power distribution unit.
