Abstract

A gas switch with an overflow sealing device includes a gas inlet and a gas outlet. A valve plug controlled by a knob is installed between the gas inlet and the gas outlet. The overflow sealing device is directly fixed in the gas inlet to reduce pressure drop and prevent excessive pressure reduction at the gas outlet. When a gas hose ruptures or detaches, or when the stove flame goes out, resulting in a large gas leak, the overflow sealing device will close the gas inlet to prevent further gas leakage.

Claims

1. A gas switch with an overflow sealing device, comprising a gas inlet channel; the overflow sealing device being disposed within the gas inlet channel; the overflow sealing device comprising: a cap, a bracket, and a compression spring; the bracket providing support for the cap; the bracket comprising a front end ring, a rear end triangular link, and three winglets disposed between the ring and the triangular link; the front and rear ends of the three winglets being connected to the ring and the triangular link, respectively; a guide rod being connected to the rear of the cap. A rod passes through a hole in the center of the three-pronged rod; a compression spring is sleeved on the guide rod; a stop block is provided at the end of the guide rod; the compression spring is pressed between the stop block and the three-pronged rod; the maximum outer diameter of the umbrella cap is greater than the inner diameter of the ring; characterized in that: the outer edges of the three wings of the bracket are in close contact with the inner wall of the gas inlet channel of the gas switch; in addition, a spring coil with an outer diameter greater than the inner diameter of the gas inlet channel is forcibly inserted into the gas inlet channel, and the front edge of the spring coil abuts against the rear edge of the bracket.

2. A gas switch with an overflow shut-off device as described in claim 1, wherein, The spring coil can be adhered to the gas inlet channel by means of an adhesive.

3. A gas switch with an overflow shut-off device as described in claim 1, wherein, The spring coil has 2 to 5 turns.

4. A gas switch with an overflow shut-off device as described in claim 1, wherein, The inner diameter of the gas input channel of the gas switch is narrowed, forming a stepped surface; the front end of the ring is pressed against this stepped surface to form an airtight seal.
