Abstract

This invention provides a spiral acupuncture needle comprising a needle body, a needle handle, and a needle tip. The needle tip tapers from the front end of the needle body to form a conical structure. The needle body is a multi-faceted prism that extends and twists axially. The needle handle is located at the rear end of the needle body and can be a spirally wound metal wire structure. During clinical acupuncture, this spirally twisted needle body increases the adhesion between the needle body and soft tissues such as muscle fibers and myofascia, and enhances the sensation and stimulation intensity during needle manipulation. Thus, by rotating the needle body in the same direction, local tissues can be wrapped around the needle body. Combined with pulling operations, muscle tension can be released, adhesions can be separated, soft tissue pain can be improved, and meridian unblocking can be promoted. Furthermore, this invention combines the traction effect of a multi-faceted needle with the retention characteristics of a traction needle, which can effectively improve the stability, ease of operation, and therapeutic effect of acupuncture treatment. It also has the practical advantages of being easy to process and having low manufacturing costs.

Claims

1. A spiral acupuncture needle, comprising: a needle body having a front end and a rear end; a needle handle disposed at the rear end of the needle body; and a needle tip formed at the front end of the needle body; characterized in that: the needle tip is a conical structure formed by the front end of the needle body gradually tapering forward; furthermore, the needle body is prism in shape and extends in a twisted manner along its axial direction; and furthermore, the needle body has three or more facets.

2. The spiral acupuncture needle as described in claim 1, wherein the length of the needle body is between 40 mm and 75 mm.

3. The spiral acupuncture needle as described in claim 1, wherein the cross-sectional dimension of the needle handle is larger than the cross-sectional dimension of the needle body.

4. The spiral acupuncture needle as described in claim 1, wherein the needle handle is formed by spirally winding metal wire.

5. The spiral acupuncture needle as described in claim 1, wherein the needle body is a pentagonal prism.

6. The spiral acupuncture needle as described in claim 5, wherein the total torsion angle of the needle body along the axial direction is 36 degrees.
