Abstract

An environmentally friendly functional sock includes a base layer. The base layer includes an inner side and an outer side arranged opposite to each other, the inner side having a sole area corresponding to the sole of the human foot. The base layer is woven from a plurality of remelted yarns, each remelted yarn comprising a plurality of intertwined remelted fibers, each remelted fiber having a raw material portion and a plurality of granular portions embedded in the raw material portion, the raw material portion being made of marine waste nylon granules. By using marine waste nylon granules to make the remelted fiber, not only is the service life increased, but also marine waste is reduced, and the environmental protection and lint reduction effects are achieved through the non-breakable and non-shedding properties of marine waste nylon.
