Abstract

A fishing rod holder with a fish bite warning function is applicable to a fishing rod and includes a support unit, a rod holder unit, and a fish bite warning unit. The support unit includes a base and a support rod extending vertically from the base. The rod holder unit includes a lever connected to the support rod. The lever has a placement portion for placing the fishing rod and an actuation portion. The lever is movable relative to the base between a waiting state and a fish bite state. The fish bite warning unit includes a warning element. When the lever is in the fish bite state, the warning element engages with the actuation portion and emits a warning signal. Thus, by emitting the warning signal when the warning element is in the fish bite state, the user is alerted that a fish has taken the bait.

Claims

1. A fishing rod holder with a fish bite warning function, suitable for a fishing rod, comprising: a support unit including a base and a support rod extending from the base in a vertical direction; a rod holder unit including a lever movably connected to the support rod in the vertical direction, the lever having an upward-facing placement portion suitable for placing the fishing rod, and an actuation portion, the lever being movable relative to the base between a waiting state and a fish bite state, wherein in the waiting state, the actuation portion is away from the base and defines a first distance from the base in the vertical direction, and in the fish bite state, the actuation portion is close to the base and defines a second distance from the base in the vertical direction that is smaller than the first distance; and a fish bite unit installed in either the support unit or the rod holder unit, and including a warning element, wherein when the lever is in the fish bite state, the warning element cooperates with the actuation portion and emits a warning signal.

2. The fishing rod holder with fish signal warning function as described in claim 1, wherein, The pole support unit also includes a reset member disposed between the support rod and the brake member, the reset member providing a force for the brake member to move to the standby state.

3. The fishing rod holder with fish signal warning function as described in claim 1, wherein, The fish signaling unit also includes an elastic element mounted on the support unit and extending in the vertical direction. The warning element is a bell connected to the end of the elastic element away from the base.

4. The fishing rod holder with fish signal warning function as described in claim 1, wherein, The fish signaling unit also includes a sensing element, which is installed on the movement path of the trigger and electrically connected to the warning element. When the trigger is in the fish signaling state, the trigger activates the sensing element to cause the warning element to emit the warning signal, which may be sound, light, or a combination thereof.

5. The fishing rod holder with fish signal warning function as described in claim 4, wherein, The sensing element is a contact switch, and the warning element is a buzzer. When the trigger is in the fish signal state, the trigger part touches the sensing element, and the sensing element outputs a start signal to the warning element, causing the warning element to emit the warning signal.

6. The fishing rod holder with fish signal warning function as described in claim 1, wherein, The fish signaling unit also includes a photoelectric switch mounted on the base. The photoelectric switch has a light emitter located on one side of the trigger portion and a light receiver spaced apart from the light emitter and located on the other side of the trigger portion. The light emitter is used to emit a light signal toward the light receiver. The light receiver is electrically connected to the warning element and is used to receive the light signal. When the trigger is in the standby state, the trigger portion is located in the transmission path of the light signal and blocks the light signal. When the trigger portion is in the fish signaling state, the trigger portion is removed from the transmission path of the light signal, so that the light receiver receives the light signal and triggers the warning element to emit the warning signal. The warning signal can be sound, light, or a combination thereof.

7. A fishing rod holder with a fish signal warning function as described in claim 1, wherein, The support rod has a first joint portion, and the actuator also has a second joint portion. The actuator can also move relative to the base to a retracted state. In the retracted state, the actuating part is close to the base and defines a third distance from the base along the vertical direction that is smaller than the second distance. At the same time, the first joint portion and the second joint portion engage with each other.
