Abstract

A lock with an anti-swing structure for the latch includes a latch and a transmission mechanism installed in the lock housing. The latch's oblique guide groove has an oblique groove section extending laterally and inclined vertically, a lower positioning section extending downward from the bottom end of the oblique groove section, and an upper positioning section extending upward from the top end of the oblique groove section. The drive member of the transmission mechanism has a body portion pivotally mounted on the lock housing, a swing portion extending downward from the body portion, and a protrusion portion protruding from the swing portion and embedded in the oblique guide groove. When the drive member is positioned below the lower positioning section with the protrusion portion engaged downward, the latch can be positioned in the locked position. Through the anti-swing structure design formed by the latch and the drive member, the latch can be stably positioned in the unlocked position, preventing it from being thrown outward due to strong door swings. The entire anti-swing structure design is quite simple.

Claims

1. A lock with a bolt anti-spinning structure, comprising: a lock housing; a bolt installed in the lock housing and drivable to move laterally between an unlocked position retracted into the lock housing and an upper locked position protruding from the lock housing, the bolt being provided with a left-right inclined guide groove, the inclined guide groove having a left-right inclined groove section, a lower positioning section connected to the bottom end of the inclined groove section and extending downwardly, and an upper positioning section connected to the top end of the inclined groove section and extending upwardly; and a transmission mechanism installed in the lock housing, including a drive member axially pivotally mounted to the lock housing and connected to the bolt, the drive member having a pivot... The lock housing has a main body, a swinging part extending downward from the main body, and a protrusion protruding from the swinging part and embedded in the inclined guide groove. The drive member can be driven to pivot up and down relative to the bolt between a positioning position in which the protrusion is engaged downward below the lower positioning section and a positioning position in which the protrusion is engaged upward above the upper positioning section. When the drive member moves from the lower positioning position to the upper positioning position, it drives the bolt to change to the locked position. When the drive member moves from the upper positioning position to the lower positioning position, it drives the bolt to change to the unlocked position.

2. The lock with a bolt anti-spinning structure as described in claim 1, wherein, When the latch is in the locked position, it protrudes to the left outside the lock housing. The lower positioning section bends from the bottom end of the inclined groove section and extends diagonally downward to the right. When the drive member is in the lower positioning position, the protrusion is inserted downward and to the right into the lower positioning section.

3. The lock with a bolt anti-spinning structure as described in claim 2, wherein, The latch has a first oblique side and a second oblique side that are spaced apart and face each other, respectively defining the left and right side edges of the oblique groove section, a lower stop surface that defines the right side edge of the lower positioning section, and an upper stop surface that defines the left side edge of the upper positioning section. When the drive member changes from the lower positioning position to the upper positioning position, the protrusion portion will abut against the first oblique side surface upwards, and gradually push the latch to the left. When the drive member changes from the upper positioning position to the lower positioning position, the protrusion portion will abut against the second oblique side surface downwards, and gradually push the latch to the right. When the drive member is in the upper positioning position, the protrusion portion will abut against the upper stop surface to the left. When the drive member is in the lower positioning position, the protrusion portion will abut against the lower stop surface to the right.

4. The lock with a bolt anti-spinning structure as described in claim 3, wherein, The second oblique side has an upper guide section and a lower guide section connected vertically, with the upper guide section having a greater tilt angle than the lower guide section.

5. A lock with a bolt anti-spinning structure as described in any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein, The lock housing has a sidewall and a silencer tongue sleeve that is fitted through the sidewall and defines a keyhole. The lock tongue has a tongue portion that passes through the keyhole of the silencer tongue sleeve.

6. The lock with a bolt anti-spinning structure as described in claim 5, wherein, The bolt also has a translation guide groove that runs through the front and back and extends horizontally to the left and right. The lock housing also has two shell walls that are spaced apart from each other and a shaft that extends forward and backward and is fixed between the shell walls. The shaft passes through the translation guide groove and is installed in the drive member. When the bolt is driven and moves between the locked position and the unlocked position, the shaft will move horizontally to the left and right along the translation guide groove.

7. The lock with a bolt anti-spinning structure as described in claim 6, wherein, Each of the shell walls has a transverse guide hole that extends through the front and back and horizontally to the left and right. The latch also has two guide protrusions that protrude in opposite directions and can be displaced to the left and right and are respectively inserted into the transverse guide holes.

8. A lock with a bolt anti-spinning structure as described in any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein, The drive unit also has a mating tooth portion disposed on the top side of the main body. The transmission mechanism also includes a pin axially mounted in the lock housing, and a paddle coaxially sleeved on the pin and driven to rotate by the pin. The paddle has a transmission tooth portion that meshes downward with the mating tooth portion.
