Abstract

A traffic safety system includes at least one pedestrian safety warning device. The pedestrian safety warning device includes a main body, a local sensing module, a computing module, and a local warning module, wherein: the local sensing module is disposed on the main body and senses an environment around the main body to obtain a sensing signal; the computing module is disposed on the main body and electrically connected to the local sensing module, the computing module receives the sensing signal from the local sensing module and generates a judgment result based on the sensing signal and outputs a first control signal corresponding to the judgment result; and the local warning module is disposed on the main body and electrically connected to the computing module, the local warning module receives the first control signal and generates a first output warning based on the first control signal.

Claims

1. A traffic safety system, comprising: at least one pedestrian safety warning device, including a main body, a local sensing module, a computing module, and a local warning module, wherein: The local sensing module is disposed on the main body and senses an environment around the main body to obtain a sensing signal; the computing module is disposed on the main body and electrically connected to the local sensing module, the computing module receives the sensing signal from the local sensing module and generates a judgment result based on the sensing signal and outputs a first control signal corresponding to the judgment result; and the local warning module is disposed on the main body and electrically connected to the computing module, the local warning module receives the first control signal and generates a first output warning based on the first control signal.

2. The traffic safety system as described in claim 1 includes a roadside device comprising a roadside warning module, the roadside warning module being signal-connected to the computing module, the computing module outputting a second control signal corresponding to the judgment result; the roadside warning module receiving the second control signal and generating a second output warning based on the second control signal.

3. The traffic safety system as described in claim 2, wherein the roadside device includes an identification signal receiving module that is signal-connected to the computing module and receives an identification signal corresponding to a pedestrian and transmits the identification signal to the computing module.

4. The traffic safety system as described in claim 2, wherein the roadside warning module includes at least one of a roadside light-emitting unit, a roadside sound-emitting unit, a roadside display unit, a roadside vibration unit, and a roadside projection unit.

5. The traffic safety system as described in claim 1, wherein the at least one pedestrian safety warning device includes an activation module disposed on the main body and electrically connected to the computing module, the activation module being triggered to generate a pedestrian trigger signal and transmitting the pedestrian trigger signal to the computing module; the computing module is operable in one of a standby mode and an operating mode, the computing module receiving the pedestrian trigger signal in the standby mode and then operating in the operating mode, and in the operating mode, the local sensing module receiving the sensing signal and generating the judgment result based on the sensing signal and outputting the first control signal corresponding to the judgment result.

6. The traffic safety system as described in claim 5, wherein the activation module includes an activation button that generates the pedestrian trigger signal when pressed.

7. The traffic safety system as described in claim 5, wherein the activation module includes a local triggering unit that receives a wireless trigger from a mobile device via wireless communication to generate the pedestrian trigger signal.

8. The traffic safety system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the local warning module includes at least one of a light-emitting unit, a sound-emitting unit, a display unit, a vibration unit, and a projection unit; and the local sensing module includes at least one of an image sensing unit, an infrared sensor, a millimeter-wave radar, an ultrasonic sensor, and a radio frequency tag reader.

9. The traffic safety system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the computing module receives a signal status signal and generates the judgment result based on the signal status signal and the sensing signal, and outputs the first control signal corresponding to the judgment result.

10. The traffic safety system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the number of the at least one pedestrian safety warning device is multiple and includes a first pedestrian safety warning device and a second pedestrian safety warning device, the computing module of the first pedestrian safety warning device is signal-connected to the computing module of the second pedestrian safety warning device; the computing module of the first pedestrian safety warning device transmits a first control signal to the computing module of the second pedestrian safety warning device, and the computing module of the second pedestrian safety warning device outputs another control signal to the local warning module of the second pedestrian safety warning device based on the received first control signal, so that the local warning module of the second pedestrian safety warning device generates another output warning, the other output warning being the same as the first output warning of the local warning module of the first pedestrian safety warning device.
