Abstract

This invention discloses a power connector and connector assembly, belonging to the field of power connectors. The power connector includes a first insulating shell, a first power terminal, and power lines. At least one first power terminal is disposed within the first insulating shell. The first power terminal has a mating portion and a connecting portion, with power lines soldered to opposite sides of the connecting portion. This power connector and connector assembly, through a design of dual power lines soldered to the front and rear of a single first power terminal, compared to traditional crimping and multi-pin terminal solutions, can improve the current-carrying capacity of a single terminal by increasing the current-carrying cross-sectional area and optimizing heat dissipation. It also enhances stability through robust soldering and stress balance, while simultaneously achieving connector miniaturization to meet compact installation requirements.
