Abstract

This invention relates to a virtual reality (VR) assistive box for smartphones, comprising two connecting walls spaced apart along a first axis, two side walls joined between the two connecting walls, a cover wall, and a viewing wall. Each of the two connecting walls includes an abutment groove, the cover wall includes a through hole, and the viewing wall includes two viewing holes spaced apart along a second axis perpendicular to the first axis. The two viewing holes are aligned with the through holes to allow light from the image displayed on the smartphone screen to pass through, enabling the VR assistive box to work with the smartphone to produce a VR effect.

Claims

1. A virtual reality assistive box for smartphones, comprising: Two mating walls symmetrically spaced along a first axis, each of the two mating walls including an open abutment groove; Two sidewalls, joined between the two joining walls, and the two sidewalls are symmetrically spaced along a second axis perpendicular to the first axis; a cover wall, joined to the two sidewalls and the two joining walls, the cover wall including a perforation, and the cover wall located between the two joining walls and the two sidewalls; a viewing wall, joined to the two sidewalls and the two joining walls, the viewing wall including two viewing holes spaced apart along the second axis, the two viewing holes aligned with the perforation, and the viewing wall located between each abutment groove and the cover wall along a third axis perpendicular to both the first axis and the second axis, the perforation and the two viewing holes being adapted to allow light to pass through on an image displayed on a screen included in a smartphone.

2. The virtual reality auxiliary box for smartphones as described in claim 1, further comprising: An end wall is joined between the two joining walls, the end wall being spaced apart from the cover wall along the third axis, and a receiving groove is formed between the two joining walls, the cover wall, and the end wall, the receiving groove being adapted to accommodate the smartphone.

3. The virtual reality auxiliary box for a smartphone as described in claim 2, wherein each of the connecting walls includes a first groove, a second groove, and a third groove spaced apart from each other along the third axis, the third groove being located between the first groove and the second groove along the third axis; the viewing wall includes two first latches formed on its outer side and spaced apart from each other along the first axis, the two first latches engaging with the first grooves of the two connecting walls; the covering wall includes two first engaging portions formed on its outer side and spaced apart from each other along the first axis, the two first engaging portions engaging with the third grooves of the two connecting walls; the end wall includes two end wall latches formed on its outer side and spaced apart from each other along the first axis, the two end wall latches engaging with the second grooves of the two connecting walls.

4. The virtual reality auxiliary box for smartphones as described in claim 3, wherein, Each of the two sidewalls includes a first slot and a second slot spaced apart along the third axis. The viewing wall further includes two second blocks formed on its outer side and spaced apart along the second axis. The two second blocks engage with the first slots of the two sidewalls. The covering wall further includes two second engaging portions spaced apart from each other along the second axis. The two second engaging portions engage with the second slots of the two sidewalls.
