Magnetic tracking and positioning device

Abstract

This invention relates to a tracking and positioning device, comprising a housing, a wireless locator, and a magnetic component. The housing forms an internal space and transmits an identification signal outward. The wireless locator is disposed within the internal space of the housing. The magnetic component is disposed within the housing and is used to magnetically attach to an external object. When in use, this magnetically attachable tracking and positioning device can be attached to an external object, such as the surface of a car or motorcycle compartment, or a metal buckle in a backpack. By placing the wireless locator and magnetic component within the housing, the tracking and positioning device is magnetically attached and fixed to a specific surface, preventing it from moving to other locations and being lost, thus increasing its practicality.

Claims

1. A tracking and positioning device comprising: a housing having an internal space; a wireless locator disposed in the internal space of the housing and transmitting an identification signal outward; and a magnetic element disposed in the housing for magnetically adsorbing onto a foreign object.

2. The tracking and positioning device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the magnetic element is located in the internal space and between a bottom of the housing and the wireless locator.

3. The tracking and positioning device as described in claim 1 or 2, having a hanging part disposed on an outer surface of the housing and being annular.

4. The tracking and positioning device as described in claim 1 or 2, wherein the housing has: a housing in which the wireless locator is disposed; and a cover detachably disposed on the housing and together with the housing enclosing the interior space.

5. The tracking and positioning device as claimed in claim 4, wherein the cover is formed with a plurality of anti-slip grooves, the anti-slip grooves being spaced apart around the center of the cover and recessed inward from the outer surface of the cover.

6. The tracking and positioning device as claimed in claim 5, wherein the anti-slip grooves are recessed inward from an outer circumferential surface of the cover.

7. The tracking and positioning device as described in claim 4, wherein the housing and the cover are screwed together.

8. The tracking and positioning device as described in claim 4, having a sealing ring that is sealingly disposed between the housing and the cover.
