Abstract

This invention is an insole for placement within a shoe. The insole comprises a top layer, a bottom layer, a cushioning layer, and an antibacterial layer. The top layer contacts the foot, and the bottom layer is positioned below the top layer and adheres to the shoe body. The cushioning layer is located between the top and bottom layers. The antibacterial layer, also located between the top and bottom layers, prevents bacteria from the bottom layer from moving to the top layer. By blocking bacteria from contacting the user's feet, the antibacterial layer reduces shoe odor.

Claims

1. An insole for placement in a shoe body; the insole having: a top layer for contacting the foot; a bottom layer disposed below the top layer and for abutting against the shoe body; a cushioning layer disposed between the top layer and the bottom layer; and an antibacterial layer disposed between the top layer and the bottom layer and for preventing bacteria from the bottom layer from moving towards the top layer.

2. The insole as claimed in claim 1, having a fragrance layer disposed between the top layer and the bottom layer, for dispersing fragrance.

3. The insole as claimed in claim 2, wherein the fragrance layer is disposed between the cushioning layer and the antibacterial layer.

4. The insole as described in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the cushioning layer is located above the antimicrobial layer.

5. The insole as described in any one of claims 1 to 3, having a plurality of anti-slip portions that protrude downward from the bottom layer and abut against the shoe body.

6. The insole as described in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the thickness of the cushioning layer is greater than the thickness of the antimicrobial layer.

7. The insole as described in any one of claims 1 to 3, having a front end and a rear end opposite each other, the width of the front end tapering away from the rear end.

8. The insole as described in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the antimicrobial layer is made of meltblown fabric.

9. The insole as described in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the periphery of the top layer conforms to the periphery of the bottom layer, thereby forming an internal space between the top layer and the bottom layer.
