Abstract

This invention relates to a grinding wheel dressing mechanism, comprising a machine body, a rotating shaft, a mounting frame, and an adjustment assembly. The rotating shaft is fixed to the machine body and is arranged along a first direction. The mounting frame is mounted on the rotating shaft and can be driven to rotate by the rotating shaft. The adjustment assembly includes a pen holder, a first adjustment member, and a second adjustment member. The pen holder is mounted on the mounting frame and accommodates a dressing pen. The first adjustment member is screwed into the pen holder and can be turned to push the dressing pen relative to the pen holder to move along a second direction. The second adjustment member is screwed into the mounting frame and can be turned to move along a third direction. The pen holder is positioned in the third direction. The angle is adjusted by the rotating shaft and fine-tuned by the first and second adjustment members. The dressing pen can dress grinding wheels with different profiles at different angles.

Claims

1. A grinding wheel dressing mechanism, defining a first direction, a second direction, and a third direction perpendicular to each other, and comprising: a machine body; a rotating shaft fixed to the machine body and disposed along the first direction; a mounting bracket disposed on the rotating shaft and rotatable by the rotating shaft; and at least one adjusting assembly including a pen holder disposed on the mounting bracket and housing a dressing pen; a first adjusting member screwed into the pen holder and rotatable to push against the dressing pen, causing the dressing pen to move relative to the pen holder along the second direction; and a second adjusting member screwed into the mounting bracket and rotatable to move along the third direction, thereby limiting the pen holder in the third direction.

2. The grinding wheel dressing mechanism as claimed in claim 1, wherein the mounting bracket includes a connecting seat and a movable seat, the connecting seat being fixed to the rotating shaft, the movable seat being disposed on the connecting seat, the grinding wheel dressing mechanism including two of the aforementioned adjusting components, the two adjusting components being disposed at a distance from the movable seat, the movable seat being movable relative to the connecting seat, such that the dressing pen of any one of the adjusting components is moved to a processing position.

3. The grinding wheel dressing mechanism as described in claim 2, wherein the movable seat has an elongated hole, and the mounting bracket includes a support rod that passes through the elongated hole of the movable seat and is fixed to the connecting seat, so that the movable seat is restricted to linear movement by the support rod.

4. The grinding wheel dressing mechanism as described in claim 3, wherein the movable seat is provided with two stops, the support rod is located between the two stops, and each stop can abut against the support rod as the movable seat moves, so that the dressing pen of the corresponding one of the adjustment components is located in the processing position.

5. The grinding wheel dressing mechanism as claimed in claim 3, wherein the mounting bracket includes a clamping member screwed to the support rod and movable relative to the support rod to press the movable seat against the connecting seat.

6. The grinding wheel dressing mechanism as described in claim 5, wherein the mounting bracket has two engagement surfaces, which are respectively formed on the connecting seat and the movable seat, and the two engagement surfaces engage when the clamping member presses the movable seat against the connecting seat.

7. The grinding wheel dressing mechanism as described in claim 2, wherein the connecting seat is provided with a gear, and the movable seat is provided with a rack portion that meshes with the gear, the gear being rotatable and driving the movable seat to move relative to the connecting seat.

8. The grinding wheel dressing mechanism as described in any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the second adjusting member includes an adjusting screw and a limiting ring, the adjusting screw being screwed into the mounting bracket, the limiting ring being fixed to the adjusting screw and extending into a notch in the pen holder along the first direction, so that the pen holder can be abutted against in the third direction.

9. The grinding wheel dressing mechanism as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the mounting bracket is provided with at least one operating hole extending along the second direction, and the first adjusting member of the at least one adjusting assembly can be turned through the at least one operating hole.

10. The grinding wheel dressing mechanism as described in any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the at least one adjusting component includes a positioning screw that passes through the mounting bracket and is screwed into the pen holder, and abuts against the mounting bracket to fix the pen holder and the mounting bracket relative to each other in the third-party upward direction.

11. The grinding wheel dressing mechanism as claimed in claim 10, wherein the mounting bracket is provided with a mounting groove, the pen holder is disposed in the mounting groove and can abut against the mounting groove in the second direction and the first direction, and the positioning screw can abut against the mounting groove in a direction inclined relative to the second direction and the first direction.

12. The grinding wheel dressing mechanism as claimed in claim 10, wherein the mounting bracket has at least one through hole, through which a positioning screw of the at least one adjusting component passes and is screwed into the pen holder, and the diameter of the positioning screw is smaller than the diameter of the through hole.

13. The grinding wheel dressing mechanism as described in any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the at least one adjusting component includes a clamping screw that can be screwed into the pen holder and abut against the dressing pen, thereby fixing the dressing pen and the pen holder relative to each other in the second direction.
