Abstract

This invention relates to a fishing sinker, and more particularly to a tornado-shaped multi-purpose metal sinker capable of multi-directional line threading. The sinker features a spiral arrangement of multi-directional mainline holes, allowing the fishing line to be threaded from above, side, or diagonally, depending on the fishing method, making it suitable for various fishing conditions such as barbed fishing, balance fishing, bottom fishing, and fishing in changing currents. Furthermore, guide holes with chamfered and beveled edges are provided on both sides of the sinker to reduce wear and tear on the fishing line under large-angle stress, effectively improving durability and reducing the risk of line breakage. This new design also features a leader hole on the side, allowing the main line hole and leader hole to be configured separately. This enables the simultaneous assembly of the main line and leader line, facilitating the assembly of multiple hooks or different bait types without the need for additional stoppers, swivels, or additional lead weights. The multi-directional hole positions, chamfered corner protection structure, and separate hole design of this new design allow a single lead weight to replace multiple traditional lead weight usage modes, offering advantages such as simple structure, high flexibility, and wide applicability in various waters.

Claims

1. A tornado-shaped metal universal sinker, comprising a sinker body with spiral mainline holes arranged in multiple directions on the sinker body. The mainline holes are distributed three-dimensionally along the outer periphery of the sinker body in a non-linear manner, so that the fishing line can be threaded from above, to the side or at an angle as needed, to provide various angled threading configurations such as barbed fishing, balance fishing or bottom fishing.

2. The tornado metal universal sinker as described in claim 1, wherein the sinker body has at least one large-angle guide hole on its side, and the opening of the guide hole has a smooth surface with chamfered, rounded and curved transitions to reduce the wear and tear of the fishing line when it is bent under stress, and to improve the overall durability and tensile strength when a fish is hooked.

3. The tornado metal universal sinker as described in claim 1, wherein at least one leader hole is directly machined into the metal body of the sinker body, and the leader hole is configured to be separated from the main line hole at a three-dimensional angle, so that the angler can complete the simultaneous assembly of the main line and leader without using additional line accessories, fixing objects or blocking beads, thereby improving assembly efficiency and multi-hook functionality.

4. The tornado metal universal sinker as described in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the aforementioned main line hole and leader line hole are three-dimensionally arranged on the outer periphery of the sinker body in a manner that is not collinear or coplanar, thereby forming a multi-directional force guiding effect and avoiding interference between the fishing lines when under force.

5. The tornado metal universal lead weight as described in claim 1 is made of materials selected from: brass, lead alloy, and stainless steel.

6. The tornado metal universal sinker as described in claim 1 is suitable for various fishing methods such as barbed fishing, shrimp fishing, balance fishing, and bottom fishing.
