Abstract

This invention provides a noise-canceling earmuff for pets, comprising two shell modules, a headband, a locking assembly, two ear pad units, and a fastener module. Each shell module includes a rigid inner shell made of a hard plastic such as polypropylene (PP), and an elastic silicone outer layer covering only the outer surface of the rigid inner shell, thereby providing both structural rigidity and acoustic damping. The locking assembly uses screws that pass through the ends of a rigid ear pad and the headband to lock into the rigid inner shell, forming a stable clamping structure. Each ear pad unit includes a PU ear pad adhered to the surface of the rigid ear pad. The PU ear pad has an asymmetrical geometric profile with a lower front and higher back to conform to the anatomical curve from the pet's jaw to behind the ear. This invention achieves structural stability, high airtight sound insulation, and comfortable wearing through a composite material shell and a three-dimensional ear pad design.

Claims

1. A noise-canceling earmuff for pets, comprising: two shell modules, each including a rigid inner shell and an elastic outer layer, the rigid inner shell being made of hard plastic and defining a receiving space, the receiving space containing sound-absorbing material, the elastic outer layer being made of silicone and covering the outer surface of the rigid inner shell, and the rigid inner shell having at least two shell locking holes around its periphery; a headband, made of an elastic body, connecting the two shell modules, with headband through holes at both ends corresponding to the shell locking holes; a locking assembly including two rigid ear pads and a plurality of screws, each rigid ear pad having a pad locking hole corresponding to the shell locking holes; wherein... The screws pass sequentially through the washer locking hole and the headband through hole and are then locked into the housing locking hole of the rigid inner shell, thereby clamping and fixing the two ends of the headband between the rigid ear pad and the rigid inner shell respectively; two cushioning ear pads are respectively adhered to the surface of the rigid ear pad by an adhesive interface layer and cover the screws; the cushioning ear pad has a front side and a rear side, the front side corresponds to the position of the pet's cheek and has a first height; the rear side corresponds to the position behind the pet's ear and has a second height; wherein the second height is greater than the first height, so that the contact surface of the cushioning ear pad forms an inclined contact surface that gradually rises from front to back.

2. The noise-canceling earmuffs for pets as described in claim 1, wherein the rigid inner shell is made of polypropylene (PP), the elastic outer layer is injection-molded onto the rigid inner shell, and the elastic outer layer covers only the shell module and not the headband.

3. The noise-canceling earmuffs for pets as described in claim 1, wherein the rigid ear pad is made of hard plastic and the cushioning ear pad is attached to the rigid ear pad through the adhesive interface layer to form a removable and replaceable structure.

4. The noise-canceling earmuffs for pets as described in claim 1, wherein the sound-absorbing material is a high-density sound-absorbing sponge structure, and the high-density sound-absorbing sponge structure has a flat surface facing the cushioning ear pad.

5. The noise-canceling earmuffs for pets as described in claim 1, further comprising a water-repellent fabric that is movably covered over the outer layer of the housing module and the headband.

6. The noise-canceling earmuffs for pets as described in claim 1, further comprising a fastener module connected to the lower extension of the two housing modules and configured to fasten together at the lower jaw position of the pet.
