Abstract

This invention relates to a building steel structure, comprising a combined box column (BCB) extending in the height direction, and a beam-column structure formed by joining H-beams to the combined box column. The combined box column includes: at least two floor-level box columns; at least one beam-position box column located between two adjacent floor-level box columns; and at least two external diaphragms located between adjacent floor-level box columns and beam-position box columns, with the external diaphragms abutting the adjacent floor-level box columns and beam-position box columns on opposite sides (i.e., the external diaphragms are exposed rather than welded inside the floor-level box columns). The floor-level box columns, the external diaphragms, and the beam-position box columns are joined together by laser welding to form the combined box column; then, a plurality of H-beams are joined to the beam-position box columns and the external diaphragms by laser welding to form the beam-column structure.

Claims

1. A steel structure for a building, comprising a combined box column (BCB) extending in a height direction, the combined box column comprising: At least two floor box-type columns; at least one beam-position box-type column located between two adjacent floor box-type columns; at least two external diaphragms located between the adjacent floor box-type column and the beam-position box-type column, with the external diaphragms respectively connecting to the adjacent floor box-type column and the beam-position box-type column on opposite sides; the floor box-type columns, the external diaphragms, and the beam-position box-type columns are welded together to form the composite box-type columns.

2. The steel structure of the building as described in claim 1, wherein, The box column of the floor, the outer diaphragm of the column, and the box column of the beam are joined by laser welding.

3. The steel structure of the building as described in claim 2, wherein, The laser welding power enables the combined box column (BCB) to form a fully penetrating weld, and the joints of the floor box column, the outer diaphragm of the column, and the beam box column are integrated by the fusion and recrystallization of the material.

4. The steel structure of the building as described in claim 1, further comprising a plurality of beams, wherein the beams are laser welded to the box column at the beam position and the external diaphragm of the column.

5. The steel structure of the building as described in claim 4, wherein, The crossbeam is an H-shaped beam.

6. The steel structure of the building as described in claim 5, wherein, The height of the box column at the beam location is equivalent to the height of one vertical plate of the H-shaped beam, the thickness of the outer diaphragm of the column is equivalent to the thickness of one flange of the H-shaped beam, the vertical plate of the H-shaped beam is welded to the box column at the beam location, and the flange of the H-shaped beam is welded to the outer diaphragm of the column.
