Abstract

A cable chain for passing a cable through it includes a first segment and a second segment. The first segment has a first opening with a first central axis. A second segment is connected to the first segment and has a second opening with a second central axis that does not coincide with the first central axis. The cable can enter through one of the first and second openings and exit through the other. A server device includes the aforementioned cable chain and a chassis. The chassis includes a fixed layer and a movable layer, the movable layer being movable relative to the fixed layer. One of the first and second segments is connected to the fixed layer, and the other of the first and second segments is connected to the movable layer.

Claims

1. A cable chain for passing cables through, the improvement being that the cable chain comprises: The first chain segment has a first opening; A second segment is connected to the first segment. The second segment has a second opening that is offset from the first opening in at least one direction. The cable can extend into one of the first opening and the second opening and extend out from the other of the first opening and the second opening.

2. The cable chain as described in claim 1, wherein: The first opening has a first central axis, and the second opening has a second central axis, which does not coincide with the first central axis.

3. The cable chain as described in claim 1, wherein: The cable chain further includes a third segment connected to the first segment and the second segment; the length of the third segment in the first direction is greater than the length of at least one of the first segment and the second segment in the first direction.

4. The cable chain as described in claim 3, wherein: Along the second direction, the second chain segment is connected to the side of the third chain segment away from the first chain segment, and the second direction intersects the first direction.

5. The cable chain as described in claim 3, wherein: The third chain segment includes a first connecting portion, the first chain segment is connected to the first connecting portion, the first connecting portion has a first through groove, and the first through groove communicates with the first opening.

6. The cable chain as described in claim 5, wherein: The first connecting portion includes a first blocking portion, the first chain segment is connected to the first blocking portion, and the first blocking portion forms the groove wall of the first through groove in the first direction on one side surface of the first blocking portion.

7. The cable chain as described in claim 5, wherein: The third chain segment includes a second connecting part, the second chain segment is connected to the second connecting part, the second connecting part has a second through groove, and the second through groove communicates with the second opening.

8. The cable chain as described in claim 7, wherein: The second connecting portion includes a second blocking portion, the second chain segment is connected to the second blocking portion, and the second blocking portion forms the groove wall of the second through groove in the first direction on one side surface of the second blocking portion.

9. The cable chain as described in claim 7, wherein: The third chain segment also includes a body portion, which has a through hole that communicates with the first through groove and the second through groove.

10. A server device, improved in that the server device comprises: Cable chain as described in any one of claims 1 to 9; A chassis including a fixed layer and a movable layer, the movable layer being movable relative to the fixed layer, one of a first chain segment and a second chain segment being connected to the fixed layer, and the other of the first chain segment and the second chain segment being connected to the movable layer.
