Abstract

A microbial community data analysis system includes a storage unit and a processing unit electrically connected thereto. The storage unit stores multiple reference microbial reports corresponding to multiple healthy cases, and a single microbial report corresponding to a case to be analyzed. Each reference and analysis report contains multiple sets of content data corresponding to various microorganisms. For each microorganism, the processing unit generates a normal content range corresponding to that microorganism based on the content data in the reference reports, and determines whether the content data in the analysis report falls within the corresponding normal content range. If the determination is negative, a risk annotation corresponding to that content data is generated.

Claims

1. A microbial community data analysis system, comprising: a storage unit storing multiple reference microbial reports corresponding to multiple healthy cases, and a microbial report to be analyzed corresponding to a case to be analyzed, each of the reference microbial reports and the microbial report to be analyzed containing multiple content data corresponding to multiple microorganisms; and a processing unit electrically connected to the storage unit; for each microorganism, the processing unit generates a normal content range corresponding to the microorganism based on the content data corresponding to the microorganism in the reference microbial reports; for each microorganism, the processing unit determines whether the content data corresponding to the microorganism in the microbial report to be analyzed falls within the corresponding normal content range, and when the determination is no, generates a risk annotation corresponding to the content data.

2. The microbial community data analysis system as described in claim 1, wherein, The processing unit generates a microbial diversity index based on the report of the microorganism to be analyzed.

3. The microbial community data analysis system as described in claim 1, wherein, The processing unit generates a community structure map based on the report of the microorganism to be analyzed.

4. The microbial community data analysis system as described in claim 1, wherein, These reference microbial reports and the microbial reports to be analyzed were generated using high-throughput next-generation sequencing data processing technology.
