Abstract

This invention relates to a device for preventing scratches on the discharged steel strip, comprising a switching door, suitable for hot-dip galvanizing production lines. Its key feature is that the switching door has a hollow air chamber inside, and the surface in contact with the steel strip has a plurality of air outlets connected to the air chamber. Compressed air can be injected into the air chamber and ejected through the plurality of air outlets, creating a buoyancy gap between the steel strip and the switching door, causing the steel strip to float and preventing scratches. According to this invention, the device for preventing scratches on the discharged steel strip utilizes compressed air to create a gap between the steel strip and the switching door, effectively eliminating or reducing friction between the steel strip and the switching door, thus preventing scratches.
