Abstract

A smart adaptive lighting system includes a human body sensing module, an ambient light sensing module, a control module, a dimming module, and a lighting device. The human body sensing module and the ambient light sensing module sense human activity and ambient brightness, respectively, generating human body sensing data and ambient brightness data. The control module determines and generates a dimming control signal based on the above data. The dimming module adjusts the drive power according to the dimming control signal, which is then received by the lighting device. Thus, the dimming module adjusts the drive power so that the lighting device produces corresponding lighting effects based on human activity and ambient brightness, achieving the structure of a smart adaptive lighting system.
