Abstract

Mounting system for solar panels comprises at least one guide, intermediate clamp units and edge clamp modules configured to press solar panels against the guide. The intermediate clamp unit comprises a T-shaped clamping element connected to a slip nut that is mountable in the guide via a bolt and configured to tighten the T-shaped clamping element and the slip nut with a bolt to press two adjacent solar panels against the guide, and the edge clamp module comprises an edge slip nut that is mountable in the guide, connected to a sliding clamp that is engageable with the solar panel and connected to the facade element via a bolt. The edge clamp module is configured to tighten the facade element and the edge slip nut with the sliding clamp to press the solar panel against the guide.
