METHOD OF REDUCING THE TEMPERATURE OF A RESERVOIR WATER IN THE SUMMER PERIOD

Abstract

The method of reducing the temperature of the water in a reservoir in the summer includes shading its surface with black floating balls. In this case, black balls with a diameter of 9-10 cm are filled with 5-10% water, placed locally in the form of a floating plateau that shades from 30 to 50% of the water surface of the reservoir, and limited along the perimeter by a flexible floating fence made of a hose with a diameter of 12-14 cm to keep the balls within a given area.
