Semi-finished product mixer

Abstract

Semi-finished product mixer consists of a cylindrical hopper for raw materials with a fixed screw conveyor featuring a nozzle inserted into the cylindrical working chamber, in the upper part of which a drive is installed to rotate a conical working element with tangential cutouts and mechanical nozzles mounted horizontally on the left and right, connected by a pipeline from the metering pump. The conical working element is equipped with screw guides on its inner wall, the pitch S of which depends on the height h and diameter D of the cylindrical hopper, wherein it is calculated using the following formula: S=(0.8–1.2)D² / h, where: D is the inner diameter of the hopper, m; h is the working height of the hopper, m.
