Abstract
Method for ensuring controlled movement of a non-rail-based vehicle—the metrobus—involves measuring, via a sensor, the angle of articulation of the vehicle’s sections, followed by command-and-control interaction with the wheels during left- and right-hand turns, thereby forming the final, driven, articulated third section of the metrobus. The frame of its enclosed passenger compartment is mounted on a two-axle, four-wheeled bogie; when moving in reverse, both wheels of the bogie rear axle automatically adjust their alignment according to the direction of the turn.
