Abstract
Cathode-ray oscilloscope contains a cathode-ray tube with systems for electron beam formation, focusing, electrostatic deflection, post-acceleration, and a phosphor screen arranged in series along its axis. Wherein the focusing system consists of a triplet of quadrupole electrostatic lenses, whose electrodes, together with the shielding diaphragms, form the initial electron acceleration region to ensure the formation of the electron beam aperture.
