An adjustable pillow device for adjusting a thickness of a pillow so users can rest their head and neck comfortably and at an ergonomically healthy angle relative to their body includes a base. A stand is coupled to the base. The stand is movably coupled to the base wherein the stand is vertically adjustable relative to the base. More specifically, the stand is movable between a lowered position and a raised position. A pad is coupled to the stand. The pad includes a resiliently compressible material wherein the pad is designed to cushion a head of a user while the head of the user is supported on the stand. A lift mechanism is actuatable to move the stand between the lowered position and the raised position.
