Abstract

A visor for attachment to a face-side bill of a headpiece. The visor has a protective element which is at least partly transparent, is flexible at least in lateral side regions and includes two openings, the openings being arranged laterally opposite one another and through each of which a rotation axis runs. The rotation axes run essentially orthogonally through the bill. The protective element in a stowage position bears on a lower side of the bill in an extensive manner and in a position of use projects at least partly downwards away from the bill. The protective element can be positioned from the stowage position into the position of use by way of the protective element being rotated at the openings about the respective rotation axes in rotation directions which are opposite to one another, amid the bending of at least the lateral side regions of the protective element.
